MARC CHARRON
SERIES PREFERRED DIRECTOR
Marc has served as an advisor to OnlySky since 2018 and has also invested in Series Seed Preferred Shares. Aside from his work with OnlySky, Marc is an investor and advisor to other companies.
Marc was with TripAdvisor from 2006, serving as Managing Director for TripAdvisor Europe. As the company's first international employee, he led the rollout and growth of TripAdvisor Europe including local language sites, operations and expanding the team to more than 100 employees in his first four years.
In 2010, Charron moved to Singapore where he set up the regional TripAdvisor headquarters for Asia Pacific, consistently growing revenue and driving traffic, before heading to Beijing to accelerate TripAdvisor's growth in China. Following his success running Asia Pacific, Marc completed his tenure at TripAdvisor as President, TripAdvisor for Business, the dedicated division managing the company's hotelier relationships worldwide Prior to joining TripAdvisor, Marc served as Vice President of Product Marketing at SquareTrade in San Francisco and before that, as Managing Director of QXL.com, Getz International Travel and Danube Travel, all based in London.
Marc lives in Denver, Colorado.
STACY OLIVER-BARTON
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Stacy is a seasoned expert in service and experience design. She specializes in the development and deployment of large-scale, strategic service innovation initiatives and organizational change programs.
Stacy spent more than 10 years at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, leading teams of people across the organization to create innovations in product and service based on deep consumer and organizational insights. Her work focused on service experience design, operational execution of brand strategy and concept implementation.
She is skilled at facilitating the iterative process of concept design using targeted strategies for consumer data and insight interpretation, idea generation and refinement, as well as pilot and execution.
In addition to her work in product and service design, Stacy developed the organizational launch and implementation strategy for numerous global programs and initiatives at Four Seasons. She now consults with brands to build service and experience delivery initiatives that support brand vision. Her clients include Aspen Ski Company, Penn National Gaming, Miami Jewish Health Systems, and Air Canada.
Stacy has recently relocated to Jackson, Wyoming from Eagle, Colorado, and has experienced ski school as a parent. She is an average skier, but a dedicated and skilled après-skier.
DOUG MANDIC
SERIES PREFERRED DIRECTOR
Doug is an investor in OnlySky through Snowvation Investment Group. He has also made (at last count) twenty-six other startup investments. He’s a lead investor at Rockies Venture Club and was named Angel Investor of the Year in 2018. He also serves on the RVC screening committee and leads many of RVC’s investment rounds. He currently serves on the boards of 4 companies including Only Sky.
A Montana native, Doug has skied at most of the mountains that OnlySky sells to. Doug’s background is in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in digital signal processing and embedded real-time controls. However, he has spent the bulk of his career in sales and marketing roles for enterprise SaaS companies. He’s a homebrewer, fly fisherman, mountain biker, and lends a voice of calm to stormy situations.
CHARLES VON THUN
CEO & CAPITAL STOCK DIRECTOR
Charles has served on the Board of Directors of OnlySky as the Preferred Stockholders representative since 2018 and invested in the Series A, Series A-1 and Series A-2 rounds through Snowvation Investment Group, the SPE formed by Rockies Venture Club.
He has been an active angel investor and entrepreneur since 2003. He was the first seed investor in RemoteLock, Inc, where he is now the Chairman of the Board. He was also the co-founder of Flonomics, LLC, a retail analytics software company, and Hangar 30, a marketing agency with a focus on military outreach programs.
From 1998 to 2003, Charles was at Decisioneering, makers of Crystal Ball software. As CEO from 2000 to 2003, he led a turnaround that positioned the company for an exit. Prior to Decisioneering Charles worked in various capacities developing infrastructure projects around the world, using his (now lapsed) Professional Engineer qualification.
A 1989 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering, Charles makes his home in Denver. He is seriously outclassed as a skier by his wife Amy, a former patroller at Vail, and his two children, Henry and Mathilde.
Doug Engler
Board observer
Doug focuses on developing and growing early-stage technology-based companies and helping established manufacturers creatively apply new technology and business practices to achieve industry leadership.
Prior to business development, he spent twenty-eight years in engineering and operation management developing products and growing manufacturing companies including startups.
Doug is a board observer in OnlySky, where his world-view and tech experience is highly appreciated.
