Only Sky and Peak Resorts Expand Partnership Heading into 2017-18 Winter Season

DENVER, CO - Peak Resorts, a leading owner and operator of high-quality, individually branded ski resorts in the U.S, is enhancing the guest experience in ski & snowboard school with innovative technology. Mount Snow (VT), Attitash Mountain (NH), Wildcat Mountain (NH), and Crotched Mountain (NH) have partnered with Only Sky, (previously Snowvation), the largest and fastest growing snow sports technology platform, to streamline all aspects of their ski school and better engage guests and instructors.

“Being a leader in technology from snowmaking to e-Commerce is central to Peak Resorts and Mount Snow’s strategy, so Only Sky was a logical choice for us.  It is the most flexible online booking solution that we found to work for both the guest and the resort,” said Erik Barnes, who was recently promoted to Vice President and General Manager at Mount Snow.

“As we started to work through the integration challenges into our existing resort software, Only Sky’s team was incredibly receptive to our needs.  They found logical solutions to our issues and made changes to their processes to fit with our solution, but also provoked changes to our existing processes where technology could help us to innovate from our operational status quo in other ways,” Barnes added.

Mount Snow, recently ranked #3 on the East Coast by Ski Magazine, and Peak Resorts are prepared for their best season yet. With the most terrain open in the East, taking a lesson is a great idea for any skier or rider of any ability level. With Only Sky’s technology guests at these four resorts can now book lesson products online, read and review instructor profiles, and even receive digital progress cards and photo/video feedback.

“Mount Snow, one of Only Sky’s original partner resorts, and Peak recognize the need for a fully enabled e-commerce experience and the back-end that can make it happen. That’s why we’re so excited to expand this partnership. Snowvation’s recently overhauled technology and redesigned will help further ensure a seamless ski school experience” said Michael Stocker, CEO at Snowvation. “We are equally thrilled to launch SV Enterprise II at Crotched Mountain with Tim Shannon and his team. Guests visiting Crotched will now be able to book lessons from their smartphones at home in Boston, en route the resort, or in the lodge during apres-ski.”

“Throughout testing, the SV team was readily available to answer questions, listen to suggestions, and provide solutions. Our staff are thrilled to have the ability to view when they are working, where they are working, and request changes from their phone, tablet, or home computer. Due to the implementation of Only Sky, our guests will notice improvements to service including the ability to book lessons from a phone, view and pick your favorite instructor before your next private lesson, and receive e-mailed electronic progress cards. We look forward to working with Snowvation to improve our guests’ booking and purchasing experience.”

All four resorts will be live for booking with Only Sky on December 15th.
