Software Veteran Joins OnlySky Leadership Team

We are pleased to announce that Doug Mandic has joined Only Sky to take a leadership role heading Sales and Marketing.

Doug's career has mostly focused on sales roles in SMB and enterprise B2B software companies, including LMS (acquired by Siemens PLM) and CFdesign (Blue Ridge Numerics, acquired by Autodesk). He is also a leader in the Colorado angel investing community. He has invested in 35 early-stage companies, often in a lead investor role, and serves on the board of 4. 

Doug was an early investor in Only Sky, serves on the board of directors, and recently resigned his position at Autodesk to join Only Sky full time.

Doug grew up in Butte, Montana, and from the beginning has been a passionate fan of smaller, independent ski areas including his local Montana haunts Discovery Ski Area, Lost Trail, Montana Snowbowl, Maverick Mountain, Great Divide, and Bridger Bowl. Today he's based in Denver, Colorado, but still gets in annual visits to his Montana favorites as well as being a common sight at independent ski areas in Colorado.

It's a cause I love to my core, and I'm humbled to have the chance in life to work on something I truly believe in."

Doug's professional background, his passion for independent ski areas, and his already long-running history with Only Sky, make him perfectly suited to make an immediate impact. We're excited to have him join our expanding team.
