SKI NY -SKIPA Expo

OnlySky team members were positively blessed to be able to attend the Ski NY / Ski PA Expo in beautiful and historic Lake Placid last week. While we missed the opening events like the golf tournament and Olympic Venue tour, we were able to set up and meet some of the 50+ ski areas that make New York State their home. Pennsylvania was also really well represented.

Kelly Pawlak from NSAA gave the keynote in the same arena where the USA won Olympic gold in hockey in 1980. I was starstruck. Kelly did hit NSAA's recurring themes of safety, sustainability, and DEI, and I would be remiss if I did not mention them here. We die as an industry if don't lift these up (if you'll pardon the expression.)

Our booth featured a new banner emphasizing our commitment to guests choosing their own instructor. Naturally, we call this Book By Instructor™. For private lessons, we are really seeing this take off.

While we hope to meet lots of ski areas, we also enjoy seeing the other vendors, many of whom we end up working with in some capacity.
