OnlySky Waiver Management!

When OnlySky began, waivers were, frankly, somewhat overlooked. It was hard enough figuring out how to make it easy to manage a ski school or set up an online store for lift tickets. Later, we offered a waiver solution that was very 1.0. But as we matured, and as our ski area partners opened up to us, we learned that an integrated waiver solution would make their lives a lot easier. Today, we are excited to announce our newest feature, OS Waivers!

The Guest Process

OS Waivers seamlessly adds waivers to the purchase process. Is the perfect tool to help manage the acceptance and signing of liability waivers more efficiently within our application. This includes many new features related to creating, editing, managing, and distributing liability waivers for your location.

In the checkout process, there is a new step after Purchaser Information. The purchaser now has the option to sign the waiver themselves or send it to the participant or their guardian, assuring you that the correct stakeholder is reading and signing the waiver.

With this new feature, purchasers are now required to open the waiver and affirm they read it. As a parent making a purchase for their child, the waiver is signed easily as they are likely the guardian. Or if one friend is purchasing for a group or an administrator for a school group, waivers can easily be distributed to the correct stakeholder in a timely fashion.

When signing a waiver, the guest must accept the signature clause and sign by typing their name.

This new process will save many hours of work that are now spent collecting, and storing waiver signatures when guests arrive. Additionally, PS Waivers provides the protection your legal counsel demands.

Admin Tools

OnlySky administrators have access to a suite of tools to manage liability waivers including, creating, editing, and distribution of waivers.

Through the Guest page, admins can access Waivers where they can view signed waivers, create new documents, and edit old ones. There is a host of optional editing tools to make sure all your legal requirements are met, including bolding, highlighting, and a yellow box with a red border. Additionally, the signature clause is embedded into the form (but can be edited). This confirms the person signing is the appropriate signer.

Need to resend a waiver to a guest? Easily do that with a pre-filled field and fire off an email immediately.

Additionally, if you need to print tickets and waivers that haven’t been signed yet, you’ll be warned by our system about this. Alternatively, admins will be able to override the warning to print tickets if that’s how you’d like to proceed.

Admins can easily create any number of waivers and apply them to different products so your guests will be served the appropriate waiver at checkout.
